After a successful career in pharmaceutical research, Susan stepped outside her usual environment to join the Riverbank team as office manager. Because of her previous experience coordinating clinical trials, mentoring team members, and managing timelines and priorities for multiple projects in deadline-driven environments, she brings a wealth of organizational and administrative skills to the office manager role.

Growing up with a dad in the Air Force, Susan lived in many different places over the years and understands the value of creating a warm, inviting environment for the family. She and her husband Neil have extensively renovated two older homes in Durham and appreciate the experience of creating new homes from the bones of older ones.
