At a young age it was clear that Chad had an affinity for drawing, designing, and crafting. His passion for design grew through experiences in a rendering studio and in the residential construction industry. It was these experiences and his desire to serve people through creativity and problem solving that led him to pursue and complete his Bachelor of Architecture at Virginia Tech in 2009.

In 2010 Chad began his career at a local Durham architecture firm, where he gained valuable design and project management experience working on large scale academic and commercial buildings. During this time his appreciation grew for projects that were smaller in scale and more personal in nature. This led him to Riverbank Custom Homes where the culture and values were a perfect fit. As a designer for Riverbank, Chad is excited about the opportunity to use his design ability and training to help clients create the spaces most personal to them.

Chad, his wife Maggie, and daughter Vivi live in Chapel Hill, where they love spending time with their friends and neighbors walking, grilling, and having bonfires. Most weekends they can also be found enjoying Saturday or Sunday brunch at one of the great restaurants in Durham or Chapel Hill.
